Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Crowd Control ("we", "us", "the team") collects through the Access client-onboarding product (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The Service helps clients securely grant Crowd Control access to their advertising and social accounts so the team can run campaigns on their behalf.
Information we collect
- Contact details. Your name, company or management name, and email address, used to create your onboarding link and to contact you about onboarding.
- Onboarding activity. The access steps you complete, the platforms and assets you mark as shared, and timestamps (for example, when a link is opened or completed).
- Account access you grant. When you connect a platform (such as Meta, TikTok, Google, or X), you grant Crowd Control access to the specific accounts and assets you choose. We receive only the access you approve through that platform's own consent or sharing flow. We never ask for your platform passwords.
- Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To create and manage your onboarding link and track access status.
- To operate the advertising and marketing services you engaged us for.
- To notify the team when onboarding is completed.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
Third-party platforms
Access is granted through the third-party platforms themselves (Meta, TikTok, Google, X, and others). Your use of those platforms, and the data they process, is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them. Crowd Control accesses your accounts only to the extent you authorize and only to provide the services you engaged us for.
How we protect information
Onboarding data is stored in a dedicated, access-controlled database. Account access is granted through each platform's official partner/authorization flow rather than by sharing credentials. You can revoke Crowd Control's access at any time from within each platform's settings.
Data retention
We keep onboarding records for as long as needed to provide the services and to maintain accurate business records, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
Your choices
- You may revoke platform access at any time via the platform's own settings.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contact and onboarding information by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
